Vitrified Victorian Tiles

Geometric floor tiles are part of Britain’s heritage and were used originally to ornament medieval churches and monasteries, and the homes of the aristocracy. Their popularity was enhanced during the Victorian era when they became part of the Romantic movement inspired by the Pre Raphealites hunger for nostalgia.

Made from coloured clays which are stained they are then pressed into squares and triangles.

This is a simple easy to install solution. The checker is on a mosaic sheet for easy installation and they come with matching border and corner pieces..
Available in a combination of Black and White, or Black and Red. Black and Red borders to match as seen in the images below.

NB they are un-glazed and may be best sealed
